Welcome from the Headteacher

On behalf of the students, staff and governors I would like to welcome you to the school’s website.  Our vision for all of our young people, is that they thrive in a caring and supportive community. We aim to equip them with the skills that will help them to become the best they can in order to make a positive contribution to society.  Greenhill is a 'Trauma Informed School' and all interactions between staff and students are based on the values of respect, responsibility in order to foster good relationships.  Greenhill is a great place to be.

Greenhill School is a unique school where the staff work tirelessly to support young people to achieve examination success, develop their social skills and improve their opportunities in life.  Our purpose is to ensure that every child has a right to educational excellence through the provision of high quality teaching. We will ensure that all our energies are focussed on helping teachers deliver excellent learning so that our students achieve to the best of their abilities.

Joining Greenhill School is a fresh start for our students and we pride ourselves on being able to provide a personalised and bespoke approach to helping students to overcome the numerous challenges they face.

We know that all of our young people have individual talents and interests.  We provide a broad range of educational experiences both on and off the school site. These activities help our students develop a real interest in the world around them and ultimately lead to each and every one of our students achieving externally recognised qualifications.

At Greenhill School, we desire that all students enjoy their education; we want them to take responsibility for their learning and to become resilient, resourceful and reflective young people.  We work to create a school environment where children are happy, safe and secure and have the opportunity to develop their talents.
